Set in a beautiful house and central to local towns including Saint Emilion. Carole was very helpful in communicating with us prior to our stay, and went above and beyond helping my partner to access medical attention due to a severe ear infection. She contacted her own pharmacist and provided details of the nearest walk in medical centre where he received help and the required prescription. The breakfast was set out in the hall leading to the dining room and offered a good selection making up a continental breakfast including scrambled eggs and small sausages. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to enjoy the swimming pool or a tour of the vin caves but we did enjoy our stay.

Rooms were a bit more expensive than if I booked with the hotel, but this was an almost last-minute trip. The rooms sizes were generous, the Superior room was like a suite with chairs and a sofa, and a huge TV. The full room had a balcony to enjoy the outdoors. Food at the bar was delightful. Wine tour was interesting, and wines were reasonably priced for good quality. Breakfast was very filling, offering eggs, hot meat, perfect croissants, breads, yogurts, cereals, cheese made on site, fruit, and hot beverages. The setting is perfect for relaxing on a vineyard. Overall, it was an exceptional St. Emilion experience!

The property is very characterful and comfortable, the staff are also very pleasant and helpful. It was cold during our stay and there were two fires lit (one in the bar and one in the dining room), which made it very cosy. It is possible to imagine it being very nice in the summer too. Additionally, the food and service at dinner were excellent. On the second night, there was a large group in the main dining room, but the waiter carried our table into the bar to be beside the fire, which was really nice. We had a nice walk directly from the hotel around the area.

Well connected, located just a short trip from the city of Bordeaux, the chateau offers clean, fresh, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and amazing sunset views. The check-in is at 16:00 and you do want to come in at that time to make it for the tour and tasting - those end after 17:00. Also, there’s another chateau with bigger wine yard and operation just across the street, that does short tours and wine tasting as well. Combining the two gives you a good overview of the area.

As you approach Chateau it feels special to be staying in such a building. Its really peaceful and other guests were enjoying the beautiful weather on the courtyard sipping drinks. Staff had us checked in in minutes and room key given. While the room wasn't as posh as other places it was 100% clean and everything worked. It was so inviting. Bed was comfy and staff were really helpful. Good location for getting around. Even has its own wine cave (wine is good!) and shop!!
